Altitude sickness—also known as acute mountain sickness (AMS), altitude illness, hypobaropathy, or soroche—is a pathological effect of high altitude on humans, caused by acute exposure to low partial pressure of oxygen at high altitude.

I am going to Tibet/Nepal for hiking on August, did some research on the following oils might help on Altitude sickness, will try out Young Living Brands and let you all know how this oils can help.

Essential Oils like Cedarwood, Lavender and Peppermint may help on the issue above.

Cedarwood

It’s very powerful for regenerating arterial walls,  increases oxygen flow into the fluid and into the blood fluid through the whole body. Apply to brain stem (base of the skull), chest regularly.

Lavendar

When hiking, it require more oxygen intake. breath in Lavender help to relax the muscle and mind, when we are in the state of calmness, breathing is far easier.

Perppermint

Help to opens up airways and allows easier breathing. i love to apply this oil at the back of my solar plexus.
